The project was designed at address the more than 10,000 tons of illegal waste dumped in Estonia.
Participants involved
The project was originally developed by a group of active citizens. Through networking they engaged hundreds of organization, large companies, and more than 50,000 volunteers.
Steps taken
1. Geo-mapped waste sites
2. Recruited constituents from the private, public, and NGO sectors to participate in the event
3. Recruited local leaders to help plan and manage the event in their region
